ImmerActive Learning Experience in 2007
 You are welcome to take part in rewarding, relaxing but very intensive total immersion language program on March 24-30 in Sandomierz and on July 21-27 in Zakopane and on November 10-16 in Kazimierz Dolny . During our ImmerActive Learning Experience we combine language lessons with task-oriented activities. You will shop, compare prices, check weather conditions and ask for directions around the community. You will be astonished at how quickly you learn and develop your comprehension when you speak only Polish in a supervised environment.
Class discussions about Polish culture and customs will be part of your cross-cultural experience. In addition, we use real life situations to practice comprehension skills. Field trips will include buying tickets at a railroad station, shopping in a market and using the post office.
Business courses
IKO has tailored a program for Intermediate and Advanced-level students that focuses on developing business communication skills. Problem solving and real-life simulations develop fundamental business Polish. IKO's materials are original, unique and stimulating.
Courses for children and teenagers
We have prepared NEW courses for children and teenagers for the Summer 2007. The program will include materials prepared by those on our staff experienced in teaching children and teens. Part of this course will be based on listening to songs, reading Polish children's books and watching cartoons. The objective of the course will be to give the younger language learners a painless (or even pleasurable) introduction to Polish by working with topics that have meaning for them.
